Centos 6.2 PPPoE

Конфигурация:
ПК со свежеустановленной CENTOS 6.2
Шнур провайдера АВК, вставленный в сетевую карту)
установленный пакет rp-pppoe

После установки пакета, активации сетевой карты, чтобы включалась сама при загрузке, а также настройки pppoe-setup,
в ifconfig -a мы видим что соединение поднято, назначен айпишник от сервера АВК, но пинги не идут.
Помогите настроить инет в CENTOS:D

PS Аналогичным способом всем работает в debian с пакетом pppoeconf

какой IP получаете? PPPoE настраивали с помошью adsl-setup ? Пинг запускаете на IP или доменные имена? Попробуйте пингануть по IP допустим mail.ru 94.100.191.202.

- ip получаю 192.168.64.2 (это мой айпи всегда при авторизации по PPPoE)
- PPPoE настраивал через rp-pppoe
- adsl-setup не смог поставить, так как не знаю название пакета. (судя по гуглу, режим настройки у rp-pppoe и adsl-setup одинаковый)
- после установки rp-pppoe, при вводе adsl-setup - пишет неизвестная команда, зато отлично работает команда pppoe-setup, с помощью которой и настраивал соединение.

Привожу пример настройки:

подключенного к розетке ( обычно это eth0 )”

Нажимаю enter, так как к eth0 подключен АВКашный кабель

after which the link should be dropped.  If you want the link to
stay up permanently, enter 'no' (two letters, lower-case.)

если хотите, чтобы соединение подключалось автоматически при запросе.

выбираю yes

FIREWALLING

are using SSH, the rules will block outgoing SSH connections which
allocate a privileged source port.

The firewall choices are:

0 - NONE: This script will not set any firewall rules.  You are responsible

          for ensuring the security of your machine.  You are STRONGLY

          recommended to use some kind of firewall rules.

1 - STANDALONE: Appropriate for a basic stand-alone web-surfing workstation

2 - MASQUERADE: Appropriate for a machine acting as an Internet gateway

                for a LAN

- пинг не идет ни на доменные имена, ни айпи адреса. (ping ya.ru или ping 8.8.8.8 висит на строчке пинг, пока не прервешь команду)

Какие адреса ДНС серверов у Вас прописаны? Исходя из кода, который Вы предоставили:

чтобы получать автоматически ДНС - надо вписать 'server'

Если не получится настроить через rp-pppoe, здесь настройка адсл, со всеми подробностями.

Я просто нажимаю enter, чтобы получить автоматичски ДНС, пробовал вводить вручную АВКашные и Гугловские - результата нет.
Попробую ваш метод с АДСЛем - отпишусь по результатам не раньше вторника-среды

Так и не настроил. Вернулся к debian
